Ratings and reviews

Downgraded from 5 stars. I've used this app for years, but recent updates have destroyed it. Simplicity and ease of use were its main strength, but it's become so ridiculously complex that I don't waste time on it anymore. I still use it occasionally for the Greek roots and cross referencing features on the NASB+Strongs, but that's the only time I can bear to open the app now. Icons don't bring up versions shown, ads on purchased translations, and--worst of all--the back button no longer works!

Frustrating ads despite purchasing several $$ books. Don't try using the Bible in church or Sunday school because the ads take a while to run before you could skip them, meanwhile Life Bible wants "a small" annual fee to remove the adds despite my purchasing several translations and books. While reading some Bible verses in public from this app the ads popped up midway and obstructed my screen, I had to quickly switch to YouVersion Bible (God bless those folks) to complete the reading.

I'd given this less Stars previously but, this has become an excellent app. At first I couldn't find certain books that I previously purchased, but I had to get used to the interface, and they let me know where those books were in the app. I really enjoy the reading plans and how it keeps you inside a reading plan without having to change the Bible part of the app and just shows the scriptures that you are reading. Very intuitive. Wish the scrolling bar indicator didn't have to show.
