The latest upgrade has now fix my problem caused by a previous downgrade. Great response from a dedicated team who has over the years delivered an excellent product which I depend on for reading the Lord's word. I use both NIV Bible and the NIV Study Bible, as well as the NET Bible. I like the option on finding the reference you want. Having it read aloud to me while driving is great, better than a radio. Back to the top of the class. Thank you.
The fact that Murdog owns this is not a favourite in my opinion. But that a side the app in easy to use and has features that allow for study like highlighting and taking notes for future reference. Also cross-referencing. I like that I get to have the display in light or dark so it's not stressful on my eyes at night. You also have the choice of how to organise the chapters. There are 3 options. Ive had the app for years and it great on my tablet when going on long trips or looking to find instant info on biblical history. There is also many option to chose from other bible versions. Such as KJV. Or the NIV. In a variety of languages. God bless and I hope you find your spiritual path.
Hands down the best Bible app around. A definite must-have for every Christian. Just would like to see more advanced Study Bibles and resources for the more serious students.
Have used Tecarta for 6 years, now, and still find it very good. Though I have the NIV on it, I mostly use the NIV (1984), because most of the passages I memorised in the past are in that version. (Tecarta very kindly let me have a copy of that, a year after they had withdrawn it from their published versions). When at church, I use the modern NIV. Also, I have a copy of the Message version, that I often use in the side by side mode to get a different take on the scriptures. And, of course, a copy of the AV (KJV in USA, I think). What I like best is the power the search for words and phrases - it so often helps to locate a passage that I know, but can't remember where it is. Also like highlighting, which I use to mark the places where I am going to resume reading the next day. (use in preference to bookmarking, because I find it quicker, especially for the 30 Psalms that I start from regularly). Normally use at home on my 10" tablet, but so handy to also have on my mobile phone when out and about. (e.g. when walking Northern Cross pilgrimage walk from Lanark to Lindisfarne the week before Easter). Nothing to complain about, though I did have a problem with accelerating scrolling on my previous mobile phone (a cheap Galaxy Fame) that was never fixed. It would be wonderful to have the UK bible editions, which have some variation of spelling, and of turn-of-phrase.
Great Bible app. I appreciate the daily verses.
