About this app

"Accessible Drug Plus" is an application promoted by the General Council of the Official Association of Pharmacists, the Vodafone Spain Foundation and the ONCE Foundation, and developed by the company Ilunion.
It is a free application that allows the consultation of updated information on medicines, by capturing the bar code present in its usual packaging, and in a fully accessible way to ensure the understanding of it regardless of the functional diversity of the user.
This solution access part of the information included in the Health Knowledge Database (hereinafter, BDM) belonging to the General Council of Official Associations of Pharmacists of Spain and incorporates search options, assistant for reading information aimed at patients and other services of interest to users.
In this latest version, new services have been included, such as the incorporation of a system of personalized alerts based on the user's profile and the medications stored in the "My medicines" section.

Me funcionaba muy bien. Ahora ha dejado de funcionar. Sólo consigo iniciar la app, pero luego se corta al pedir cualquier función.

La iniciativa está bien, pero escanear códigos de barras en medicamentos subvencionados es una tarea complicada... más que nada porque al recortarlos en la farmacia, es imposible. La captura del código de barras hay que hacerla a distancia. Valoro y aprecio que existan estas aplicaciones, pero lo del código de barras Le resta puntos cuando se trata de estos medicamentos subvencionados. No es culpa de la aplicación, pero un reconocimiento de imágenes sería más adecuado para personas mayores.
