I just stumbled upon this app when I was looking for a player that would play FLAC audio files from my Seagate NAS server. So far, it works great. I really like the interface. It did take several hours to scan my nearly 3 TB music collection, but once that was done it plays all the files quickly and easily. I also like that I can multi-task on my Q-Box (Android TV box) while listening to music.
Great app, I use this every day for streaming and caching music from my local ftp server. Options are a little on the simple side but that's fine because it does what I need. The only complaints I have is the toggle for start playing on Bluetooth connect doesn't work. It automatically starts playing on connect whether it's checked or not, which is not a behavior I want. Also I think there should be an option to not lower the volume for notifications.
Slow and Incomplete Features Even on an excellent connection scanning and caching takes ages! Already cached files are constantly reloading, so you can't be sure what you can actually play offline. There is no option to turn off caching on mobile data. I am using SFTP with a couple thousand Files. Playlist management is annoying, no multiselect options. The list of UI problems just goes on, I nevertheless invested in the app hoping for an update.
Limited to 400 songs? "Buy premium to unlock unlimited songs". No thanks ill just uninstall and use some thing else. Im not paying for something thats full of bugs and hasnt been updated in 7months. - Plays my mp3 files, but when i try to play a mp4 file it says "error file not found, rescan folder". Ive rescaned and re-added the folder many times. It shows the file is there but displays the error every time i try to play an mp4.
Looks good, but doesn't work for me. cant connect to my SFTP. connection works fine in ES File Explorer and ive used the same addresses, ports etc. Also tried a few different setting but still nothing. Also couldn't find any help or guides.
This potentially could be a excellent network steaming app but this only partially scans my music library. I have the paid for version so I submitted a detailed report by email to their app support but never heard anything back. So app not working and no support, not impressed.
