Great app idea, but a little hardcore... I love this app, it's simple yet very effective and motivating. Also I like the fact that they thought often rest days also... I only give it 4 stars though because I think the numbers are going up too fast at least for me... Until 60sec I was fine, but I have troubles with planking 90sec... I know I'm not in a good shape, but maybe some steps in between could've helped? Next step is 120sec... not sure how I could manage this... :/
I really like these exercises because you can change them to fit your needs. If you are a beginner in poor shape, this exercise can be modified to your needs. Get a cooking timer or whatever and start with 5 seconds, or 10 seconds. Rest for 30 seconds or even a minute. As you are able do another one, press on without overexertion. This exercise is made to be modified to as little or as much as you want to do. If you can do only 1, do 1. At some point you will be able to do 2. Don't give up.
Ok app. I thought there were several plank exercises included though. Not bothered by that as much as the plank timer should really give you a count down to allow to get in to the proper position after you hit the start button. On the early days when the times are short, the exercise was half over before I ever got set up.
Great Great little app that tracks your planking efforts over 30 days. I'd question whether the increments in time are based on advice from a qualified PT or physio - it seems quite hard going! Maybe different levels (beginner and advanced) would be useful for those starting at different abilities?
30 seconds increases too high! This app has potential, once the time increase intervals are reduced down to 15 seconds. For a novice, and someone whose job is already physically demanding, to be expected to hold a Plank for 4 minutes on day 27 is a bit much. Once this is corrected, this will be a 5 star app.
Not working It worked the first time then it stopped. Sometimes it shows the right screen. Even when it works it is not intuitive. Switching on takes longer than doing the plank and how can I begin before I see instructions. Also why when it worked at fitst it was showing 60 seconds and now just 20. No adjustment. Bullocks.
