Really wished it worked as intended. At first it worked great for me. Now it'll only take me through longer routes to get to my destination and I can't pick or choose a shorter route because there all long. I had to use my phone once for that reason. The latest thing it does now is that it takes long to register where I'm currently at so it's basically useless. It fails to give me directions in time so I'm always ahead of it in real time. Maybe an update can fix it but who knows.

The integration with the car is nice. It can be confusing how to connect what and when. 2022 update: It wouldn't connect until I subscribed to both GPS Link and Scout, one of them I subscribed twice in one day and heard not a peep about it. I'm hoping I get 2 years from it. Now I've learned to have bluetooth enabled, with Scout, GPS Link, and Toyota apps running before I start the car. Sometimes I have to pull the USB out and put it back to make the map work. But nothing beats in-dash nav!

The app now refuses to connect to the phone if anything else, such as my watch, is using Bluetooth. It used to connect, but not anymore. When there's a detour and I need directions NOW, it's useless. Update: Even if I disable Bluetooth on my watch, so nothing else is using Bluetooth, it still won't connect. Useless.
