About this app

Try out Nomorobo Max and you won’t be bothered by *any* unwanted calls. None. Zip. Zilch.

Supported Phone Carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Xfinity Mobile, Mint Mobile, and Spectrum Mobile.

Here’s how it works:

AUTOMATIC CALL SCREENING:
When an unknown caller rings your line, Nomorobo Max will ask the caller to state their name and the call’s purpose. You’ll listen to the brief message and either accept the call, reject it, or send it to voicemail. You can then choose to block that number or add it to your contacts. Nomorobo Max also cross-references the incoming number against its global database of millions of scam phone numbers and screens the caller’s dialogue for common scamming terms and language patterns.

SMS SCREENING:
For even greater phone protection, Nomorobo Max can detect spam texts as well. When SMS screening is enabled, Nomorobo Max can analyze text messages from unknown senders and check the number against a robocaller database, as well as URLs in the body of the message against a suspicious URL database.

With Nomorobo Max, you never have to trade your privacy for protection.

Your contacts stay safely on your phone. We don't push ads and we don't track your location. We just protect your phone from illegal and unwanted calls and texts.

Love this app but it badly needs an option to be able to copy a phone number to the clipboard so that we can easily Google it or whatever. Having to manually type out the number or go to add it as a contact or call it then copy it from there is tedious. This is the only reason that I'm not giving this 5 stars. We also need a way of configuring the default behavior. For instance I would prefer everything to be sent to voicemail instead of just hanging up, but there is nowhere to configure that.

It worked well for a long time, automatically blocking unwanted calls and sending them to voicemail without ringing my phone. Now for some reason, the calls are getting through, and from the same spam sources that used to get successfully blocked. I also wish you could create block lists that block based on callerID name. I have several recurring spam callers that seem to have an endless supply of unique phone numbers, but always have the same callerID.

The reason for 3 stars, there needs to be an easier way to add more difficult persistent same SMS text messages sneaking through. Allow us to easily add url addresses and or Company/Organization names to help filter SMS spam. Also, please add some form of a choice button and add an "Analyzed" section too for SMS's (same group but an additional Tab(?) same as analyzed phone numbers) to say if it is spam or not. Too many hoops to jump through also clogging phone text msgs side.
