About this app

BEFORE DOWNLOADING PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR VETERINARIAN USES TELEVET. This app allows your current veterinarian to provide veterinary telemedicine services. To conduct a virtual vet visit, your pet needs to have had an in-office visit previously.

TeleVet saves you time, by enabling you to connect directly with your veterinarian through your mobile device. Skip the office visit, receive diagnosis and treatment plans, and maintain pet wellness, wherever you are.

🐾 HOW IT WORKS:

Consultations
● Request and schedule a vet telemedicine consultation with your veterinarian
● Share detailed text, pictures, and/or videos for your veterinarian to review
● Your case is assigned to a vet within your pet’s local veterinary telemedicine clinic
● Chat one-on-one with your vet via video, call, or text with your veterinarian
● Receive a treatment plan from your veterinarian to get your pet healthy

Follow-Ups
● Schedule follow up telehealth appointments with your vet
● Video chat with your vet to check-up on your pet’s healing progress
● Review previous consultation records to keep track of your pet’s health

🐾 HOW TO GET TELEVET:

TeleVet is available to pet owners whose veterinarians are signed up to provide telemedicine for pets through our platform. We connect pet owners to their existing veterinarians, so if your vet is not on our platform you will not be able to participate in TeleVet’s offered services unless you register as a client at one of our existing TeleVet veterinarians.

🐾 If your veterinarian currently does not offer TeleVet services, there’s still hope! Please email us at hello@televet.com and we will reach out to your preferred vet.

I like the purpose of this app but it's buggy. The chat never loads and I keep having to reinstall the app every time I want to see the messages from my vet. Very annoying. This makes it pretty much unreliable. It would be easier just to call my vet. Spend more time on this! And maybe you'll have a better app

Very confusing to use. I was told by app that camera and microphone needed permissions opened, so I opened for both in my Settings. Went back to app, microphone looked good, camera didn't have permissions opened. Force quit app and went back in. Camera still didn't show permissions opened. Gave up after that and the vet cancelled the Consultation. Got home and saw I had been charged $53 (the price of an office visit) in addition to the full charge so now have to work with my vet to clear that up. As soon as that happens I'm uninstalling the app. In my situation, the vet's office is open - I bring my cats to the parking lot, the vet collects them, and then I wait in the car while they're examined. I would have liked to have video but today a simple phone call was sufficient.

So sorry to hear you were not able to get the camera to work. It sounds like a permission request was denied during set up. You should not have been charged since your veterinarian canceled the consultation. Please reach out to us at info@gettelevet.co and we will correct this issue if you still see the charge.

My main vet isn't showing up, so had to pick second choice (actually not even a choice at all but I had to pick one) that I'm not happy with. I don't know what your mileage range is, but you need to increase it because my normal vet is only about 11 miles from me, the other place is maybe 3 or 4 miles, but I don't see myself using this app if I can't use my vet, don't need it because I can pick up my phone and call them.

Sorry for the inconvenience. This app is purposed toward connected pet owners with their existing veterinary clinic. If you veterinarian is not in our app we'd love to help get them signed up. Please feel free to send your veterinarians information to info@gettelevet.com and we'll do our best to get them onboard so you can do virtual consultations!
