Still not fixed! DO NOT BUY This is a really nice game that makes you feel like you're living in the Mr. Robot universe. Although it's kind of stupid that your character is sort of an indiot. But that's only when it works. I've read that a lot of people have the same issue: that the game just stops. And I have the same thing... I've been waiting on Henry and the scan for 5 days now. If this and other game breaking issues get fixed, it might receive 4 stars. How is it that this isn't fixed yet?? It's been a month now.
Intriguing The concept for this game is great but it's far too short. Also it's still quite buggy. I had to replay a couple sections because I didn't take the path I was supposed to I guess. Please make the next one much longer with way more tasks. That's the bit that makes you feel like a badass hacker!
Weeks gone by with the patch sitting at Telltale. On Sept 13th, I wrote on twitter about the same issue everyone else has been having, stuck at 89.8% and getting repeated texts. Night School Studio replied a day or two later, saying "It's part of the same glitch, I believe. But the patch is with Telltale, so hopefully it will be out soon!" No patch has been issued since.
UPDATE: It now runs without crashing. The game was gripping and fun, I just wish there was a second part. Really enjoyed the game until I reached a point where it wouldn't progress any further. Emailed telltale they said wait for the next update, that was over 3 weeks ago.
This game is nothing more than a very short story of season 1. You have very little control on how it turns out, and is pretty much a text game straight out of the 1980s..But with less interaction. (Or a chose your own adventure book..But still less choice.) It is definitely not worth the $2+.
Played through the game twice I didn't have the same bugs as everyone else. There were some times that timelines wouldn't match up, but for the most part i had no issues. After I "beat" the game I wanted to play through again to see if it is possible to screw up to the point of no return or to not screw up the things I wrong. Excited to see what's next.
