Great! Well worth the money! Don't miss it! This app continues the excellent quality I saw in their Arabic alphabet app. A lot of free apps are crap, but here, you get a lot more than what you pay! I started on their alphabet app and now I'm reading (really reading!) Arabic sentences. Wary of paying a buck? Ha! You can't afford to miss this!
Five is better audio... This is not the audio problem mentioned in their audio section. The quality of the audio for some words is just poor. Like the person is at the bottom of a well. Otherwise, outstanding content and construction. Very user friendly and functional! update: now it wont open. Just a white screen...
Amazing app This is a great app. If you do the quizzes, you WILL learn some Arabic. Don't get hung up on whether the app is perfect. I can't believe how low the price is, for all the teaching it gives you. One question for the developer: Why not change to a more professional looking logo? That red cartoon looks like an evil monster, and when people see Arabic with it, they think the app is from a terrorist.
Nice pace, good continuity. I've studied multiple languages, and finding a clear explanation of language and lessons that build progressively is always welcome. The quizzes are great for reinforcing the lessons, and I don't feel rushed to learn too much to fast.
Where is arabic 2 ???? Arabic 1 said that there is more to learn about verbs in Arabic 2 but I have searched Google play store and the Internet, I even went directly to the tengu website and cannot find it. Has this app been developed yet? If not when will it be available? I just assumed that since they were referencing arabic 2 it had already been developed.
Fav Arabic Language App So Far Love this Arabic language app. I have downloaded many from freebies to very expensive apps. This is the best that I have found so far. It has good background info to help explain things. The speakers do not speak too fast nor too slowly, which is often a huge problem in language apps. The Arabic script is not too tiny. Some apps waste the entire screen on pictures or voice recognition displays and make the script so tiny that you cannot read the word you are trying to learn & pronounce. Not so with this app. While I would like the script to be a bit bigger, it is readable and not annoying. This app includes the transliteration as well as the Arabic script & the sound bite. The teaching is via different methods such as reading informational material, learning single words, learning grammar, & having conversations so it is not boring. The testing is by reading or hearing Arabic and choosing the English & vise versa. I hope they make additional levels!
