About this game

Welcome to Thimbleweed Park. Population: 80 nutcases.

A haunted hotel, an abandoned circus, a burnt-out pillow factory, a dead body pixelating under the bridge, toilets that run on vacuum tubes... you’ve never visited a place like this before.

Five people with nothing in common have been drawn to this rundown, forgotten town. They don’t know it yet, but they are all deeply connected. And they’re being watched.

...Who is Agent Ray really working for and will she get what they want?
...What does Junior Agent Reyes know about a 20 year old factory fire that he’s not saying?
...Will the ghost, Franklin, get to speak to his daughter again?
...Will Ransome the *Beeping* Clown ever become a decent human being?
...Will aspiring game developer Delores abandon her dreams and stick by her family?
...And most importantly: how come no one cares about that dead body?

By the end of a long, strange night in Thimbleweed Park, all of this will be answered -- and you’ll question everything you thought you knew.

In a town like Thimbleweed Park, a dead body is the least of your problems.

Pixel art is terrific and the backgrounds are gorgeous. Music is absolutely stellar. Voice acting and dialog are surprisingly above-par tolerable. My #1 criticism is the puzzle-solving. In the beginning it's intuitive and fun. Towards the middle it becomes a slog. There is an in-game tip system but I feel guilty using it. Two difficulties means the easier option keeps only story-focused puzzles, but confusingly, key items from hard-mode are kept in, throwing you off. Delightful game, otherwise.

This has to be the best game I have played on Android. I don't know where to begin my take on this. Like the movement of a Rolex, every aspect is perfectly balanced to provide a pristine product. A compelling story found me often dropping the phone on my face as my eyelids grew weary. My biggest problem has to be the lack of replayability. Start here, end there, not many other turns. For those w/ Play Pass, 100% dive in. But for those who have to pay, the $9.99 price tag is steep.

Humorous and reminiscent of classic point and click adventure. Dialogue and storylines are clever and figuring out what to do is fun without being super easy. The built in hint system is helpful for when you're stuck. I love how you get to play as the characters in flashbacks too. The characters are so original (love Ransome!) and keep you wanting more. It is a long game with lots to do!
