Would be great if you could reserve your (pre/post) Christmas order. And still order for shopping leading up to the date reserved.? There is no evidence that supports the facility to allow this. I am also a midweek delivery saver customer. So although given the advantage of booking before general public. I am disabled and rely on a weekly shop for essentials
It's a good app meaning I can shop with it every week. It shows my last order and a selection of my usual and favourite items. It tells me when I miss out on promotions. Easy to install and use. I've only had it freeze on me once or twice the the last year. Some pickers are better than others as sometimes the fresh items e.g. veg have short use by dates. The delivery drivers are friendly and helpful. I don't like being penalized if I want to spend less than the minimum £40. Sometimes I just need a top up rather than a big shop. But that's Tesco store rather than the app.
Having tried two other major supermarkets, I have to say that Tesco is the best. It gives me offers on regularly purchases items, the sell/use by dates are good, fresh items are picked well and are undamaged and on the very rare occasions that they do not have an item I want it is replaced by an appropriate alternative. My experience with 2 other supermarkets has been that I have received quite random alternatives. App is easy to use. I haven't had it crash on me. I like that it reminds me of regular items that I may have forgotten to add to my basket before checkout or offers that I may have missed. I can also make and save lists of regulary bought items which saves time. I like that I get emails and a text to remind me that I can make changes to my order prior to delivery. I use the delivery saver, so I have been able to get my preferred Christmas delivery slots easily. Also local delivery drivers are polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Finally I love that my Tesco Clubcard vouchers can be multiplied x 4 and used at restaurants. Recently had a meal at Zizzi in Birmingham courtesy of this offer. Fantastic value for money
I've always shopped at Tesco, but through a car accident, I cannot do my shopping 'manually' anymore! Its easy to access the app, easy to shop and the delivery drivers are all friendly and very kind. I never have any problems and get everything I order (if out of stock, items are always substituted).
I use every week for my shop. Only glitch I have found is it can sometimes add more than one of the same item to the basket. Has caught me out a couple of times. But no drama as it can be handed back to the driver for a refund :)
Would give 5 it im fed up of the bleddy app nearly even opening!! It takes up to 15 mins to actually plopen properly. Please fix this as it's so annoying
