Have used this app over a dozen times. Had no problems till update where I had same failures as others. But in discussions with Tesco technical team, who were great, resolved the issues and app is now ok again. Using app means I don't have to remember my clubcard. Brilliant!
This app was working great before Christmas but ever since then the barcode does not scan. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it no longer works for me so PayQwiq is a bit misleading if you ask me. I always use scan as you shop but I reported it to a member of staff and she confirmed it does work at the normal tills so maybe it's a problem at the scan as you shop tills???
As I have read below I too get the big exclamation mark saying this app doesn't work on too.or phones with malware. My antivirus software say my phone is all good so unless this app is some super detecting antivirus app? Also my phone isn't rooted. Come in guys WTF let's get this app working again please.
Had a few instances where app gets stuck on PIN screen and I've needed to restart the phone. Had to use old fashioned payment so I didn't cause a huge queue!
App has been opening more quickly. Used to take 30s to produce a barcode. Then yesterday it wouldn't work at all claiming wrongly my phone was rooted. Latest update just now seems to work again. Please stop messing with this app and breaking it so often. If you don't want us to use it just withdraw it. Oh and the tills at Tesco Leatherhead have huge problems scanning the phone. Works fine on the self service tills and at other stores.
Unable to get app to recognise touch unless i restarted the phone in the minutes prior to use. Opens fine, but won't allow me to enter a pin code. I downloaded the app to make it easier to nip in store for essentials, and this makes it more difficult than needing to call home for my purse.
