Finally! Replacing my former flashlight because I couldn't find it again for new phone. This one's better! And I looked at a bunch of them. Simple to use, no out of the ordinary permissions, and well worth the buck it costs.
The best... Believe it or not, I compared flashlight apps pretty intensely. I looked at permissions required and features for just about every one i could find in the play store, and then installed the top 3. This one was the best overall. LG Spectrum VS920.
Has features you didn't know you wanted. Modes include: continously flashing SOS in Morse code; a little light that's on when your finger is on the screen, then off as soon as you lift it (perfect for cat burglars); police lights (to use on your drunk friends); variable strobe (for impromptu raves). Used on a Samsung Galaxy S5.
Good app, but has very minor hiccups. The morse code screen doesn't show dots unless it's set vertically. "Press to activate" cuts the light if phone if tilted horizontal/vertical. A nice app that I have recommend to a friend.
Handy I probably can't count the number of times I've used this app in real-world situations. Its simplicity and usefulness cannot be underestimated. I'm sure there are tons of flashlight apps out there. I wouldn't know. I bought this back in the day and I've never needed to look for a replacement.
