Nifty little app It's useful for when you have too many apps. When you mostly swipe their notifications away without properly reading them because you're in the midst of doing work, this app helps you see those notifications as numbers on your app icons, so you won't forget. Worth it, I must say (I paid MYR 1 for Nova Launcher Prime). Having said that, it still doesn't work for Google+, FB Pages Manager, & FB Messenger (including SMS). The numbers only show when you open the apps. Do work on adding native support for them.
Has some issues Google Messenger counter sticks at 1 unread Forever, switching to other sms apps - badges show all as read, as every message has been *thoroughly* read. Also Facebook unread badges works about 5% of the time, with about 5% accuracy. These are the 2 apps I most want the badge notifications for - to replace those lost by not using HTC Sense launcher or default message app. Does have very nice badge appearance customization options.
Great when it works. When it works it is simple and straightforward. I love that I can personalize colors, sizes, shapes, etc. of my notifiers. The problem is it rarely works. It will stay on for about an hour and then I have to keep going back into Nova launcher's settings and turn it back on, since it turns itself off constantly. What's the point then!?
Rubbish graphics Like mine as rounded as possible but it no longer looks smooth. Looks all jagged and horrible round the edges, I'm on a Nexus 7 with a very high resolution screen so this stands out like a sore thumb. No longer using now because no matter which options I choose, it appears pixelated and ugly.
Lenovo p70-a kitkat Everytime I receive miss call, sms, call log, dialler and contacts have unread badges. Even though I didn't choose contacts and dialler in the first place. But then when i check again Tesla unread, the box for dialler and contacts are automatically been choose by Tesla unread. Could please fix these..really frustrated over this. Thank you.
Mark as read issue With the Google Messenger app, when choosing "mark as read" for a message, the unread badge stays on until I actually open the given message - which is actually marked as read inside the Messenger app, making it difficult to know which one to open to get rid of the unread badge. On a GS5 G900F running RR MM V5.7.3 and GS2 T989 running CandySix.
Simplified user interface
Improved handling of unread counts from notifications
Improved or added support for several more apps
Added crash and usage analytics (and internet permission) to help identify issues and further improve TeslaUnread
