Works flawlessly The great thing about this little app is that it allows one to browse the filesystem of one's phone over the (wireless) network. Just mount a drive using ssh and bob's your uncle! I am using Ubuntu on my PC, but I'd guess there is some way of doing this in Windows Explorer. This saves me searching for usb cable when I want to get an image off the phone. I'm sure there are lots of other applications of this fundamental bit of kit.
Used to Work fine! Apparently, this does not work as of JellyBean and folks are wondering if there is any active development. When it worked, it was 5 stars. You *can* make this work, but it takes some monkeying around. Google: quicksshd jellybean site:tolaris.com. Easy fix, but not very easy to do using a soft keyboard. Also, the fix requires root and a bit of know-how if the fix doesn't work at first. Paid app. Easy fix. Earn your pay.
Shame on TeslaCoil for abandoning this... Come on TeslaCoil, why abandon this app? no updates in 2 years? Of course it doesn't work on 4.1.1 (and up, I assume). Free up a dev for a half day and make this right. Reward those of use who purchased several of your apps!
Great for transferring files Works flawlessly on my Asus Transformer Prime (free SSHDroid wouldn't run on my tablet). I was a bit puzzled at the opening configuration screen as nothing happened after I entered my chosen password until I pressed the button near the top right hand corner of the screen (not intuitive). The online help was good at explaining how to configure my PC for SFTP access. Nice product.
Doesn't work on modern versions of Android (uses binaries which are position dependent). This used to be the best SSH server for android with a proper terminal emulation. But now it's just broken and given that last update was in 2010 I'm not expecting a fix to come out in any foreseeable future.
Used to be near perfect ...but developer has apparently dropped support and it no longer works, at least not on lollipop. If I hadn't paid for it, i'd let it slide and just install one of the not-quite-as-good alternatives, but this chaps me. I've uninstalled everything from Teslacoil and will never install, and certainly never pay for, their apps again.
