It's time for an update. I've been using Widget Locker for a few years now, and I really like it due to it's ability to customize the lock screen to truly make it your own. Although Widget Locker is a great app it's time for an update. Now that there is a new version of Android (Lollipop) it would be great to see the system lock screen notification cards on top of WL without having to swipe down the notification bar. Also give the "Swipe To Camera" action a refreshed image. Some custom lock widgets aren't showing properly.
Not fully compatible with KitKat or Lollipop, last update 12 months ago! Been using this for over 2 years, it's a great -and unique - way if setting up all your important widgets so you can quickly see what's going on, without unlocking the phone. Unfortunately there are still a few issues with KitKat and now Lollipop (check the xda-developers thread) , but it seems the Dev no longer supports the app.
Galaxy s2x 4.1.2 Good app but drains battery. ONLY KEEPING because it's needed to use nova launcher and have the ability to have UNREAD MESSAGE COUNTS. Nova launcher...FREE. Unread counter...FREE! But to have the feature you need to PURCHASE this app or Nova Launcher Prime. Hmmm that seems pretty shady. Wasn't before. Considering those facts and the fact THIS app is a battery AND resource hog, I'm rating it low since I paid and yet it remains installed but deactivated or my phone drains. Look elsewhere and save your $$!
Good Customization Hands down the single best customization app I've used across multiple devices over the last several years. I've had little problems with bugs and the updates are in line with updates from Google and 3rd Party developers. This app never gets old, but it does make a device feel extremely limited when absent! I recommend this app to anyone who doesn't like being constrained by manufacture preference like Apple Products are guaranteed to do.
Almost perfect. I love this lockscreen replacement and really want it to replace the stock lockscreen on my moto x. Tons of customizations that keep it fresh. The only thing that keeps that from happening is there is no standard implementation of music lock screen controls. Sure I can add a widget to achieve this, but depending on the app I'm using to listen to content I would have to add one for each app. One for my music, another for my podcasts, one for my audiobooks...starts to become less than ideal.
Does NOT allow you to customize widgets with keyguard on And the refund window is too short. I tried to test it as fast as I could, but it wasn't enough time to get my money back. I read on XDA that this would allow you to change the widgets on the lock screen, but it doesn't let you change them when keyguard is on. In addition, when keyguard is on, you essentially have to unlock it twice! Who wants that? Wish I could get a refund, but maybe this will help you out.
