Phone Key range is too far. I can be in the second story of a building with the car parked on the street, and the car will unlock when someone pulls the handle. The proximity needs to be greatly reduced so that my phone has to be next to the car to unlock (within a few feet). And with a recent app update, whenever I unlock the car with the app it then nags me to set up phone key. Every time I have to decline. Very annoying.

Improved over the last few years but still a lot of room for improvement. For instance switching between devices/vehicles is still clunky. Would be nice to get more telemetry from the car. Info for energy saving is misleading and based on unequal comparisons (seems to assume your using a high performance BMW with premium gas for savings for instance). Also trip planning in app then send the plan to car would be nice.

The most necessary part of the app, the ability to plan a cross country trip, is tremendously lacking. You can put your final destination. Pushing edit trip doesnt allow you to add additional destinations, doesnt allow you to change starting locations, doesnt allow you to change routes (say take the 10 instead of a northern route, ie 40, due to it being winter.) When a map route is created from google maps and shared to the tesla app, nothing happens. It doesn't show up anywhere. Disappointing
