The customizable feature on Textra is fun. I downloaded Textra when my regular messaging app quit working properly. I do have a problem with it, though. It doesn't go over the phone lines and I don't always have access to the Internet, like on a road trip or even when the power goes out. I had one other issue, but they texted me back immediately and helped me with it! That was awesome. Yay!

I love this app! It allows me to delay send for up to 8 seconds which comes in handy for all of the spelling miscues that happen. It allows customization so the text interface looks, acts, and sounds exactly the way that I want it to look. Also, the customer support team is top notch (as I recently discovered when I had a small issue with my phone; Mandy, you're the BEST!)!! I recommend this app to everyone that will listen!

i love the app and customization it offers. have used it for nearly a decade now, i think. one annoying thing it doesn't have is marking a message/conversation unread once it has been viewed in the app. you can do it if you preview it in the notification through quick reply but not in the app itself. a feature i had been expecting for years...
