Are you planning a move, or have moved recently, and feel overwhelmed by all the boxes? Here is an app for you that will help you organize and take control of your move. Keep track of your boxes and their contents, pictures, and descriptions, and search quickly as you find and unpack boxes after you move. We built it for ourselves when we moved, and it was a great feeling to know exactly where our things were, and exactly how much we had left to unpack. Check this one out!

* Powerful voice control to add content and description of boxes. For example, you can say, "Add a small box with plates and silverware."
* Back up moves to the cloud using Dropbox for easy sharing between multiple devices
* Print moves to PDF or cloud-print capable printers directly from your phone/tablet
* Import existing images of boxes from your gallery
* Copy boxes from one move to another

Permissions:
* Read and Write external storage - to backup and restore your moves
* Internet access - to backup and restore with Dropbox
* Record audio - used by the voice control feature (this can be disabled in the settings)

Now includes tracking of volume and value of your boxes - as requested by our reviewers, we now have the ability for you to indicate the value and/or volume of each box. The total value and volume are reported for each move in the main screen. The system will try to guess the currency and volume symbols automatically but you can change them in the settings.

Ratings and reviews

I used moving organizer, both free andpro. Both are excellent. It was easy to find something I had accidentally packed away using the search function. I kept track of cubic feet for each item as I packed and was able to estimate accurately for a storage unit. The only caution is that when you start a box, save it immediately, in case you have to switch to another app in the middle of entering data. I love that you can customize package type, e.g., adding bins or backpack as needed. Recommended!

I've used this app for several moves and I love it! This most recent move was made so much easier with the ability to add photos to the boxes contents. We had a lot of paintings and being able to add a photo of the painting was awesome. Super easy to use and extremely helpful 👍 would be great if it would be able to sort ascending and decending.

I love this app! It works beautifully! My last move, 15 years ago, I wrote everything down in every box, numbered and labeled. This does the same, using my voice plus pictures if the contents. Quick and very efficient. Unpacking will be a breeze. I have the pro version, using an Android. Thank you for making this move easier!

What’s new

We heard our reviewers! This version includes the "Export to CSV" feature - this lets you export all your moves into a CSV file that you can share with others or your mover or import to your inventory software. Also allows you to set the app to a different language than the system language. Currently supports English (EN) and Spanish (ES) - more languages coming soon!
