Abysmal support. Can log in on a laptop but never mobile. Sometimes it looks like it will connect but it isn't. They have something going on with releasing active accounts which I suspect is the problem - if you are logged in elsewhere they do not kill that login and restart with the new device. I get why single login makes sense, but you have to set it up right! Months of being locked out of mobile. Frustrating, and I am writing this after another purge and cache clear and app reinstall.

It's fairly good app wise. Frustrating it always tries to feed me the same "related articles" at the bottom of an article. Sometimes the same article for months. One of my bigger frustrations though is that when you click on a photo so you can see a bigger version and zoom like it works in other apps, it never loads the photo! Even though there is an x in the corner like it should be the photo like expected. For the price there shouldn't be bugs like that!

It's a pathetic primitive little app. For example, if you listen to an article in AI text-to-speech mode, it automatically starts playing some random next article when it finishes reading the first one. There is no setting made available to the user to change this. A high-schooler could design a better app. It's 2026, Globe and Mail! Put some effort into it please.
