Ads often take over half the screen and you have to repeatedly x them out several times and even then the frequency of them scrolling on the screen means you almost always have an ad while viewing. Interesting perspectives but horrible app design.

The developer really failed awhile ago with weeks where we couldn't get any news from the app. Now the app is just worse. It used to be easier to find articles I wanted to read. Now it's just ugly and there's so little info on rl each screen. The story panes are just too big on a smaller phone. I rarely want to even open it to look at what's there and when I do I rarely open more than one article before closing the app.

I gave the new version 1 star after it first came out and I would give it a half star even now if it was an option. The new version is a major degrade in usability and aesthetic quality. I loved the volume of easily accessible news in the prior version. The new version increases the invasiveness of ads while greatly reducing easy access to news. Less than a quarter of the news originally available can be found now. Very disappointing.
