It is a demo, the game itself isn't free. I like it and would consider buying it - for about twice less, it's too much for this. The game IS great, but there are no complicated graphics, mechanics are simplest possible (you have a field with squares, you draw a line), so in my book it should not cost as much as games with heavy graphics or developed storyline or complicated gameplay. AND it wasn't updated for half a year. So the price is too big for the offer. Also with in-app purchase I can't add unlocked game to my family library, we'll have to pay for each of us. Which makes this not attractive.
Great game, EXCEPT I can't seem to play the daily Alcazar! It's telling me to update the game, but it's up to date (I even purchased it!) Also, this app is made for iPhone, and it's impossible to press the home, back or window buttons without pressing buttons in Alcazar, so often all your progress is deleted, and you have to restart from your last save.
Fun & Well Designed! It's easy to learn and fun to master. Eventually, you do have to pay to unlock the rest but the price is very low, and you can play levels of all difficulties before you make the decision. It's a perfect example of being given the opportunity to try everything the game has to offer before you buy. More mobile games need this business model. Kudos.
After the few trial puzzles are complete, you are restricted to only solving one additional "daily alcazar". And now the game has run out of even those and needs attention from the developer. At this point the app is just taking up space while we wait to see if the developer will provide an update with more puzzles. For now, you should ignore this app, just like the developer is ignoring requests for updates.
Very enjoyable, but... I really enjoy this game. The puzzles are clever and fun to work through. However, I have a constant problem with the app crashing. I play for anywhere from 15 seconds to a few minutes and the app outright stops. I'm not certain if this js a problem with the app or my phone, but it really cuts into the enjoyment of it all.
I used to love this game app but the daily updates started becoming weekly then monthly, etc until they've become completely non-existent. This developer has apparently simply abandoned this app without explanation. So disappointing.
New daily puzzles, and a two new books of puzzles: The King's Rooms and The Queen's Rooms.
