PCB Droid provides an easy way to design your printed circuit boards for your electronic DIY projects. Overall I didn't think it was a bad app, but all the sudden I keep getting a "server login FAILED" error and cannot use the program or access old projects. The controls are somewhat cumbersome, but I find a lot of these apps are and I'm not sure exactly how you'd make it better for touchscreens; nature of the beast I guess. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 since, when it works it's pretty good, but as it doesn't currently work, it's worthless.

Be warned! This is a rip off outfit. They debit your credit card every month for a subscription then take away your access, so you can't export Gerber files and you keep getting ads. 21 April 2021 update: Can't even log in any more. 100s of hours work down the drain. They don't answer emails. Two years on and still the same problems. They don't care about you and hardly even respond in a timely manner, just send automated messages about being out of office hours.

Great app that I use often to create Synthesizer and noise maker pcbs. It's UI is pretty easy get to grips with, layout is simple, and editing is a piece of cake. I do have a subscription, which I believe is reasonably priced. If you need to layout circuits and convert to gerber files for production, this is a great budget way of doing it. Thanks to the support team for helping me with my recent issue when I was locked out of my subscription account.
