Cultivate Self-Compassion

Do you have any recommendations for journeys you’d like to see in a future release? If so, shoot us an email over at!

Emotion tracking, open journaling, gratitude journaling, distress level tracking...
Use a variety of therapy activities to help you practice journaling, identify and manage your emotions, and reflect and spot patterns.

Therachat was created together with therapists, who use the platform with their clients, from all over the world. All activities found on our platform are approved by these professionals.

You can use Therachat by yourself, or with your therapist. When you invite your therapist to Therachat, your activity responses and other data will be shared with your therapist to have more effective sessions. Your therapist will be able to send you custom activities as well.

Therachat offers a subscription option for $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year ($4.99/month billed annually).

This price is for United States customers. Pricing in other countries may vary and actual charges may be converted to your local currency depending on the country of residence.

I'm really frustrated with Therachat. I gave the app the benefit of the doubt, willing to admit issues may have been user error with new electronic devices, but enough is enough. The app freezes often or simply never loads certain pages so you can't take advantage of what it might have to offer. My greatest complaint is that is often doesn't save my journaling entries. Sometimes the writing is very insightful, sometimes scary ... but always emotionally draining. Wasting my time and energy over and over makes this app a source of stress ... like having a therapist you can't trust ... maybe it's time to look elsewhere.

I've used this regularly for a while and it was super helpful, but it keeps getting updated and keeps running slower and slower each time (and I'm on a Note 9, so it's not my phone being old). Now it crashes 9 times out of 10 when I try to load the app and when I can sign in it thinks I'm a therapist so I can't do any exercises, just load an empty "my clients" tab

Great concept, the app has a lot of kinks to work out related to how the owners want to handle situations they didn't think about. For example what happens when you move away and your new therapist doesn't want to use their service or the old one paid for premium settings to be available while the new one doesn't, or you find value in the assigned activities but aren't ready to share everything with the new therapist yet
