Thermal Master offers two main product lines with a total of 19 models: the traditional smartphone thermal cameras and the thermal monoculars. These products cover a wide range of applications—from home temperature monitoring and industrial inspections to 1500-meter long-range outdoor night vision.

What's new in this version:

The Insight+ algorithm has been fully upgraded to intelligently suppress false targets, highlight true thermal sources, and reduce background noise. Heat sources now appear larger and brighter for better visibility.

All Thermal Master models support up to 15x digital zoom, enabling fast and accurate target localization.

Regarding the system permission prompt when saving photos for the first time: this is a standard Android security alert shown for all infrared camera apps. We have confirmed this behavior with Google. Please rest assured this is normal and safe.

Ratings and reviews

They need to fix the app to remember whether to auto open when the camera is connected to the phone (right now it brings up that pop-up every time); to not use the default Android robot for the app icon; and to have the UI not look like it was created in 2015. Unfortunately it doesn't give me much hope for future official software support of my Thermal Master P3.

the p4 is a great camera but the software is really lacking and I hope it will be improved soon 1. it does not remember the orientation settings, every time the camera is plugged after the app was closed you need to rotate it again to your liking. 2. the app does not open automatically when the camera is plugged, it asks every time and even with the permission granted, the app never autostarts. 3. if the phone is upside down, the app interface is not fully adjusted, the buttons don't migrate

This app replaces the thermal eye app which is no longer supported. it looks like the company who manufactures these thermal cameras changed sometime between 2023 and 2024. While this app is functional, it would be helpful if there was better documentation/ instructions detailing all functions and features of the app.
