I used Trainline in Italy last year and it worked perfectly. I now have an upcoming trip in Belgium, but when I've tried searching for trains in the past few months, it says no trains available, doesn't matter which cities I select. It's definitely bugged as I tried searching in Italy for the same dates and it shows trains scheduled.

AWFUL UI. I have bought a single accidentally SO many times I genuinely believe it's malicious. As a person who can't see that well it's not telegraphed at all, and the refund policy takes off 1.50 from the cost if you do. You have to go into a whole separate tab that's at the start of the ticket page and click a specific icon, completely unfriendly to new users when it could just be there when selecting other tickets. STAY AWAY, this is why I just use the ticket machines, complete scam.

The app for whatever reason stopped sending me notifications. All notifications are allowed so I don't know why I have to keep checking the app if there is a change to the journey I'm tracking. It used to just pop up in my notifications if my train is delayed or the platform changes. What's the point in tracking a journey then?
