where to start with this, I mean, the new app layout is awful and makes something as simple as switching directions of travel you use to require you having to do more than just pressing the original swap icon they had, not to mention the app selects tickets that are different to what most people will want when looking for prices, happened to me with an open return ticket, which went from a month, to being same day travel, I never picked it, spoke with support, and out of £80 they offered £2

I like the app I use it all the time buy lately every time I go to search it only offers flexy and season tickets when I just want a return so instead I have to buy a ticket at the station. I have cleared cash and uninstall then reinstalled the app. the problem still persists I prefer the convince of a digital ticket as it easier. just pointing it out incase others are having the same problem.

Update 3/8. Still getting the run around. Tried to cancel a 2nd class train ticket before departure. No one answering phones so sent a request via the app, a ticket was opened. By evening my ticket has not been canceled, called customer service and they said since the train had left/arrived they could not help. Asked me to email a screenshot of my attempt to cancel. Still no answer. Guess I'm out 250euros but if so please folks don't trust Trainline. If they sort this out I'll update my review.
