Better then google maps! Ive tested it in newyorkcity and longisland ny. %98 accurately shown. Also anywhere i point dot it shows me thar areas bus train etc. With this app i can go on a vacation using public transportation. So far cannot say nothing wrong but its been very very helpfull. Better then nyc trasit app
My bus transit has been in the works for almost in 12 to 11 years it took a very long time to get everything settled in here in the East Bay base in California. Which now we have a superb real life information time information has been in the works for a century this app has been useful every single train corner for the developers you have made one of the best apps in the market thank you.
Essential app for straphangers! It makes getting around on transit a breeze. Real-time departures, automatic rerouting if you miss a connection, audio reminders for when to leave/get off... It's everything I need and even some things I didn't realize I wanted. It can be a bit of a data hog, but that may be because I always have it open since it's such a joy to use.
Lots of bugs with every release. New bugs pop up all the time. Makes me want to uninstall. In the latest version, some bus lines show every single arrival on the main page taking up too much space. Times are not that accurate either. Sometimes the app doesn't refresh arrival times on first lookup. But it does provide routes and transportation based on location. Overall so so
Works well most of the time. One nice to have feature would be to integrate Transit with Google Assistant requests. There's that new "Routine" feature that came out which you can initiate a batch of events through a single command. If I could say "hey Google, I'm done working", I'd like to have one of these actions to be Transit that launches the optimal bus route to go home from my position in Go mode, and provide realtime location data to other users around me who uses the same bus route.
I've taken the hint. So given 4 stars. Seriously speaking, an indispensable app for people like me who would prefer public transport. However it isn't just the app, but the on ground service has some distance to travel, that too rather quickly, to earn one more that's five stars. Love you folks.
Since the start of 2018, we:
- Got a gym membership.
- Slipped on the ice.
- Got lost (Transit wasn't updating to our new location).
- Fixed the app so it always updates to our current location.
- Stepped in a huge puddle.
- Got a service alert notification from Transit but couldn't open it.
- Fixed the app so that the above never, ever happens again.
- Bought crampons.
- Met our valentine at the bus stop.
- Got lots of 5-star reviews from users. (Hint, hint.)
