Simple, elegant, kicks ass, and keeps getting better This app does everything I need it to and almost nothing that it shouldn't. Quick, easy arrival time, excellent transit planning that is reminiscent of the great Hipmunk, and transit navigation that is best-in-class. The developers continually update, adding Uber, Car2Go, and bikeshare integrations, a brilliant Wear interface that is exactly what I wanted it to be. The new GO navigation is well thought out and very helpful, and real-time planning is an obvious win. These devs do everything right.
Best Transit App out there After a couple annoying bugs were removed from versions 4.0, the app now works just like it did before. It is one of the few apps, potentially the only one, that offers real time information for Edmonton. I use it about a hundred times a day and it makes using transit so much more convenient.
Don't trust it - Google maps are better This infuriating and time-wasting app will tell you to wait at a stop where the bus won't come. It won't tell you that you need to walk to another stop. You'll wander around searching for the right stop, made even more difficult because it'll call the bus something other than what the sign says stops there. Took me two hours for what it said would be a 70 minute trip. Google maps is much more clear, and shows you when you have to walk from one spot to another so there's no confusion.
Not great Uses up to 12Mb just when it first starts up, crazy for an app people would use mostly when on mobile data. The trip planner is very inaccurate for Sydney as well. If these two things were improved it would be quite a decent app
After receiving public recognition from the MBTA, I can't believe that they completely failed handling the Green Line in this latest update. Instead of keeping each branch of the line separate, as they actually operate, all 4 independent branches were merged into one single messy entry. And in top of that, inbound and outbound tracks of the same line aren't even next to each other on the scroll.
Used to "Love. Love. Love this App.!" But ever since it's been updated w/"GO", I cannot set an Alarm. Now I have to be constantly watching the clock to allow myself time to leave. Very annoying! Other that that, it is a good app. I have and will continue to recommend it!
Say hello to Transit 4.0 🤘👰🤘
GO is the magic button that makes riding transit way easier. Seriously. Press it. GO gives you super real-time updates, alerting you when to...
-leave your house
-hurry up (if your bus/train is running fast)
-if your vehicle has an unexpected detour
