Referred to me by a trimet driver and it's amazing. Way better than Google maps. Reroutes if buses are late and keeps you updated. However it gives me frequent crashes. I'm on a galaxy S5 with the newest software. It's the best for transit, just hoping future updates will make it more stable
What a joke. Might be in real time somewhere but not here. It's touted as GPS tracking system. If it's not giving reliable info it's useless. The fixed STM schedule is more helpfull. At least you know to get there 5 minutes early and expect to wait if the bus is late. This'tracking' system pulsing to show you that it's working tells you that you have 3 minutes and you're 2 minutes away. You run. There's no sign of a bus anywhere in sight and then you look at the app and you see next bus 28 minutes. You could track a 'micro chipped' dog more accurately than this.
Love the app! HSR drivers say it's great as well! Only time I've had problems was when the busses themselves got all screwy (that was due to bad management by HSR).
This app used to be great! Recently it's been crashing *a lot* and for many of my bus routes schedules won't load and it'll imply the bus won't be running for a few days, which is obviously not true. Disappointing as I used to recommend this app to everyone. Using Oneplus 5
App is broken is a good tl;dr. Maps for uber is wrong, timing for the bus is not up to date and it ignores stuff like "arrive by" when planing a ride pointing out rides that would not get me to the destination in time even if uber could
App sucks. Misses scheduled times and sometimes if it does give you a time it can be wrong by 15+ minutes. Have missed way too many buses to trust the app ever again.
Two truths and a lie, Transit edition:
1. Got rid of the bug where our British GPS “Daniel” started speaking random garbage
2. Got rid of the bug where departures disappeared from our schedule view like a David Blaine trick gone horribly wrong.
3. New York bagels are better than Montreal bagels.
Spot the lie? Tweet your best guess to @transitapp. And don’t forget to rate us five stars—because while our release notes may only be 66.6% true, when it comes to transit times, we’re much, much better.
