MakerBot's Thingiverse is a thriving design community for discovering, making, and sharing 3D printable things. As the world's largest 3D printing community, we believe that everyone should be encouraged to create and remix 3D things, no matter their technical expertise or previous experience. In the spirit of maintaining an open platform, all designs are encouraged to be licensed under a Creative Commons license.
The Thingiverse app lets you browse Thingiverse from the comfort of your phone. See what we've featured, what's new and noteworthy, what the community has made, and what's popular. When looking at the things themselves, scroll through beautiful slideshows of photos. Like items, add them to your collections and quickly share them to your social networks or email. You can also view collections and comment on your favorite Things.
Since photos are so easily uploaded to Thingiverse from the app, it's super simple to share images of your prints with the community. Update your profile and cover images from your phone, too.
Have the MakerBot App installed? You can send Things directly to that app to start printing on your MakerBot 5th Generation 3D Printer. MakerBot App is available via Google Play.

Love Thingiverse, however the app is pointless. If you try and load up something, it just hangs there and times out. This happens whether I'm running on 4G data or on incredibly fast broadband. Its frustrating, as I find myself having to use my laptop instead of my phone if I wish to use Thingiverse at all. Makes the app entirely redundant...

Many connection errors, links don't work User session times out resulting in many errors and "lost" collections, have to kill app to fix. Links in dashboard do nothing - what's the point of links that do nothing you idiots! Infiscroll is poorly implemented. Too many issues in this app such a shame it's the best group for 3d printing but they clearly have no concern for android users.

great for browsing Like the app for browsing, but it certainly is fickle. Search doesn't work all that great most of the time. Why do we only get a small subset of our collections? Not having access to all collections is extremely frustrating. :-/

Please add a download file button. Not all of us use a Makerbot. For us it sucks browsing the app, adding to collection, then going to the browser on our phone to download it from the website. Simplify things and add a download thing button. Also chnage the "download thing" link on the website back. I hate that downloads the whole zip file now.

Garbage! Only shows Java errors and then does nothing. Don't waste your time. Definitely the worst app I have ever installed!

Thisnwould make an awsome app for 3d object makers. However this app hangs. Images do not load... Makes it very frustrating. Please update and remove bugs

UI is total crap.. Images take ages to load, even on WiFi. Also, why can't I remove things from my collections?
Can't make 3d projects :( I was expecting more. I was kind of disappointed after making an account to find this out. After all, the app does say that it's used to create.
So easy to use. It's a pain to take pictures and then upload to a pc and then upload to the thingiverse website. This app makes it super simple to upload pictures of my printed designs and "I Made it!" Photos.
Bugs and fewer features than the website I kept getting Java script errors. Also the website is more fully featured. Maybe this is good if you have a maker bot?
Was great I used to use this all the time and it was a good app to find stuff and save it to print later but lately the search function is not working at all which makes it kind of a pain since you can't go through collections in the app
Perhaps I've missed something, but there doesn't seem to be an option to download and the "print now" button does nothing. The app seems to offer nothing more than browsing. But again, perhaps I've missed something.
I like this app but unfortunately when my Internet connection is poor it always forgets my username and password every time! If you can fix this you'll get five stars
Its OK Its cool to be able to browse, comment, like and share designs. I want to be able to download designs directly to my phone. And thingview from mobile as well. There's some good social aspects here but there's a lot of features missing yet IMO.
Not too bad I like the app and use it often, however it really needs to be fixed because pictures don't load half the time and you can't even read posts in the groups but you can still see them in your dashboard.
It needs some work. At least 85% of all thing photos don't load half the time, whether you're on cellular or Wi-Fi. The desktop website never has issues loading. It would be really nice to be able to browse things on my phone, but photos not loading makes it fairly useless, so I always have to go to the website instead. It is nice for getting text notifications about my things, however (good if you're vain like me).
I prefer using the web browser It is very common to get error messages. Limited usability. It is very slow to load. Even though you get messages of forums you can't open them.
Good stuff Would like more ways to filter and for it to always load the results but for free it's great. Funny reading the people complain about free stuff haha
Thingiverse app is lousy. The search function never returns any results making the app entirely useless.
Good app, allows me to browse things and view how my own profile is doing etc It would be nice to see how many times that my model has been downloaded so the app functions more like the website rather than the app itself
Lousy app, better to just use the website. Search doesn't work, Java shows many errors, and links to things doesn't open in the app.
I've never been able to access my collections, or add something to a pre-existing collection. Other than that, works fine for me.
Invalid email error Can't access the app as it keeps saying invalid email no matter what I try
A little unfinished It feels that unfinished. Biggest things are not being able to search for a Make or view them from the Thing page, not being able to see messages, and having incorrect display images for a Thing.
Please, fix bug with partial list of my collections when i try add some thing to my collection. It show only part of my collections, not all...

The app is definitely a native app. There are one or two components (such as signing up) that are web based that we're currently working to make native as well. Good App App is OK, but it times out a lot, even on wifi. Still times out and throws Array exceptions.
Why doesn't this run on tablets? I can't think of a good reason why this would be restricted to phones, and not take advantage of the larger screen size of a tablet.
Nice app, sometimes a bit slow Works great... Would like to see a way to upload makes from mobile.
Can't See All My Collections I have a ton of collections. I can only see about 20 of them. Still not fixed. C'mon makerbot!
Great concept But it's disappointing that most of the photos don't load on the Android version.
Was great now not so much Please fix the app I can no longer search and it takes foooooooor ever to load now
ThingBrowser better There is no good reason users should have to sign in to browse. Free ThingBrowser works fine without the need to sign in.
Decent...wish it had more function I wish it had the same functions as the website such as forum views for asking questions and replying.
Sign up doesn't work Tried to sign up for an account. Put in all my info and when it was time to hit finish, it keeps telling me "error, please resubmit" grrrrr
App resets to main screen after switching. When going to a web browser and going back, the app seems to often go to the main screen so where I was just at is lost. Very annoying.
Annoying!! Search for a product that i know is on there and nothing loads, 0 search results. Bloody ridiculous.
Dashboard links inoperable Can't open link in dashboard if it has more the 2 lines of text. Making it impossible to got to anything in the forum. BUZZERCO
Good app The only thing is people cannot find me when the try to search
This app does really need an update. The images don't load, doesn't let you modify much things, can't see the videos, can't see the remixes, etc. It wasn't updated since 2015
Missing alot Missing alot from the website,, it have a problem on loading the images in slow connection, its need to be improved alot, until this time im sticking to the browser
