A good place to find occasional deals and sell items at the last minute. A great place for laughs at people trying to sell use items at new item price. Wish notification was better and the sellers actually remember they are trying to sell. The worst part is lack of description and the feeling you are hounding someone to give them your hard earn money!
We post on multiple sale sites, and we do like 5 mile as one of them. However, out of numerous sites and apps that our items get listed on, 5 mile is the ONLY one that will unapprove a post because 'pic is too long', 'pic is too wide ' etc. No other sites do that. We have big items, and not all pics can be adjusted to your size standards and still show the full item. Please do something to fix this!!!
Huge glitch saying something about payment required for a premium feature when I'm just trying to edit a post. Hate that the search feature doesn't save the distance. I only want 50 miles max but it won't save. Allow us to adjust view settings. Minimize clicks. Add Bartering option. For ideas checkout the app: MatchTrade. It's a lame app but they had a good idea
This app seems to work well... that is unless you have a question. Even when you send an email in order to get help with an issue and include all the information needed, you receive a generic "cut and pasted" response that doesn't take into account the info you provided. The customer service should be more comprehensive than this, especially since it's thru email. I have deactivated my account and won't use this app again for that reason.
I've been able to find so many gently used items for my kids and also been able to sell gently used items as well. Some people are not as honest as others but for the most part I've been in contact with A+ people!!
Can quickly get in contact with the seller. Been using it since Jan 2016. Great app! Needs some work on the search options
