Excellent source of news. I usually visit Reuters first before contextualising with other news apps. Fantastic app optimization, market data and search tools. The new update sees adverts taking some space which I wouldn't mind but there is no way to pay to them off. This is a shame because I would be happy for the content alone. Recommended.
Reuters seems less biased than other Western news sites...but from a truly bad line-up. The Trump/Russia reporting is obviously driven by a political agenda. More facts, less opinion please! BIG adverts on small screens are problematic. Please let users tailor the 'Top News' screen so we can draw headlines from 'news sections' that interest us.
Reuters seem to be incapable of impartiality. They have the usual MSM, sneering patrician PC bias. The journalism is also UK centric if you prefer a global perspective. The APP itself I find to be very good, just let down by the bias of the journalism.
I think it went from the best to the worst with one update.you can't even read one article with out those intrusive adds it's a shame had it for a long time but u installing now becouse those ads are bad
Was very good but now articles are often editorials and opinions with a bit of news as a leader. (My opinion!) Also, many more typos than before. I know the writers are rushed but if they can't get the words right what else is wrong?
The app provides a good news and editorial service but the flow of intrusive adverts is annoying. Why not offer a paid version of the app that is not cluttered up with adverts. Grateful if the New Zealand stock index (NZX50) can be included in the list of stocks for Asia; it may be a small market but it is significant. Thank you.
