Thozhil Suraksha is a pioneering Grievance Redressal Mobile Application developed by the Department of Factories and Boilers, Government of Kerala, to strengthen occupational safety, health, and welfare governance in the State. The app empowers factory workers and the general public to report safety, health, and statutory violations in factories through a simple, secure, and user-friendly digital platform. With voice-enabled grievance submission in more than eleven Indian languages, Thozhil Suraksha ensures inclusiveness, accessibility, and timely redressal, particularly for migrant and unorganised workers. This first-of-its-kind initiative in India reflects the labour-centric and welfare-oriented policies of the Government of Kerala, reinforcing its commitment to protecting workers’ rights, dignity, and wellbeing through responsive, transparent, and technology-driven governance.
