it is unfortunate that this app severely hinders what is otherwise quite an amazing portable amp. If you plan on using the amp purely to use with the app via a Bluetooth connection then you should strongly reconsider other options from the likes of Boss and Positive Grid. The Bluetooth connection from your device to the amp is very unstable. Getting it to connect via BT initially is a huge chore, I'd say it connects maybe once every 25 tries IF that- and afterwards it will drop out randomly.

Bluetooth issues. The other reviews pretty much cover it. Problem is compounded by the fact the Amp is so heavily dependent on the app as only way to access certain settings. My primary issue was that my mac was connected so I couldn't connect the android device until I disconnected that. So, "it works". However, 3 is still pretty generous considering how very flaky this is with bluetooth. But, I wanted to put this info in here in case someone is having the conflict. Unreliable and weak.

Can't connect to the device through the app. I'm obviously not the only one. For the asking price of these amps, there should be very little issue with this. Shame on you Yamaha! Edit: update to the amp seems to have resolved connectivity issues although the update notes never tell you that. Should have never come out of the box that way though.
