First, the premise of this itself is great, and until now, the execution. They decided to have a separate app so they can add a booking fee, and double the cost. There's no reason to need to have a separate app, and register with another payment company. Last note, these things generally fill up with women first, so having them pay equal is contrary to demand.

The events are usually good, however sometimes they could be a bit more "guided" at the start, or better organized for mixing. I joined an event that no one turned up to, and tickets were available to buy after the event time would nearly have been finished.

the app works well enough when it wants but the experience at the events leaves a lot to be desired. The no host ones usually end up people just small talking but never saw anyone exchanging info. The hosted ones were better but the AI matchmaking one I tried had me match with the host herself who essentially just said "sorry I'm not looking to date and I'll be busy but we hope you come to the next one." Why even participate if you're not looking to date? Why would I want to come back?
