Bhabinkamtibmas is a National Police Officer who works at the village level who is tasked with carrying out the Pre-eminent function by partnering with the community.
Bhabinkamtibmas has the following functions:
• Carrying out visits / sambang to the community to listen to community complaints about Kamtibmas issues and provide explanations and solutions, maintain friendship / brotherhood relations
• Guiding and counseling in the field of law and civil society to increase awareness of law and order by upholding human rights
• Disseminate information about the policies of the National Police leadership relating to the Maintenance of Community Security and Order (Harkamtibmas)
• Encouraging the implementation of social security in safeguarding the environment and community activities
• Providing police services to people in need
• Mobilizing positive community activities
• Coordinating efforts to develop Kamtibmas with village / kelurahan officials and other relevant parties
Considering the function of Bhabinkamtibmas is very important, it is necessary to use technology to assist officers in carrying out their duties, where this technology is able to store data on reports and delivery of news quite quickly. With the rapid development of Android technology, the Yogyakarta Regional Police seeks to improve the facilities and infrastructure of binmas members by creating an Android-based reporting application.
This application is used by members of binmas in the context of reporting on activities carried out every day, while the reported activities include:
• Problem Solving
• Binluh
• Office Floors
• Population symbol
• Information Report
Reporting results by binmas members in the field can be quickly monitored by leaders for the ANEV process and also the awarding of active members and also reprimands for passive members.
