Works but drains battery It does help with auto connecting to available WiFi networks and provides usage information but it is constantly on and uses so much power that phone warns me to force stop or uninstall it. I have turned off auto-connect to see if it helps save battery but ultimately will likely uninstall it.
Little confused/misunderstood I went and upgraded my twc service when I lost my cellphone and was using iPad as wifi calling for a phone well when I wouldn't have WiFi, the app was worthless, so I dl twc WiFi app thinking it would provide a connection but it seems to require internet connections/services to achieve this goal? So I'm a little confused about the whole concept and usefulness of this prog. Maybe I went about it wrong, or didn't completely understand. But I'm going to give it a chance on my new cell device.
App is trash. It Hijacks my WiFi connection when there is a really weak TWC hotspot in range even though I'm connected to a hotspot with a much stronger signal. It's also extremely dicey at best when connecting to TWC hotspots. It's unreliable, slow, and counter-intuitive. Basically everything you DO NOT want in software.
Does nothing It's crap! I've never been able to connect to WiFi once. Hey TWC what's the deal? You offer an app that is worthless and frustrating you are really showing the quality of your service. Keep up the poor service. Update. I've traveled to Portland which I've found they have service but passport doesn't work here either. Hey TWC get it together make us happy for the prices you charge
Some people are clueless Love the app. Save so much money by not using my data. And if you know how to use the app, you can have your home or work network override any TWC hotspot.
Sometimey Great when it connects....just wish it connected to partner networks when traveling to non-TWC cities.
• Roam securely on partners’ networks available in major airports and around Florida (for most devices) when you save your TWC ID and password
