They have removed some of the features like Edit, and the community where you can see what others are saying and also post your comments. Some of the words to songs are incorrect and you cannot fix or edit them. There's no new feature apart from the fact you can make lists and save songs (which is limited), because if you save too many songs in a list it's automatically removed. I rather the older version. i like that you can read about the author. bring back the old version and keep the search.

The updates were a big improvement! It's much easier to use now. I use this app all the time. If I can suggest one more fix: when typing a hymn number into the search box, the keyboard reverts from numbers to the default keyboard so typing a three digit number requires switching to numbers three times. Edit: I didn't realize that, thanks for the tip. I think what I posted above is best practice but not a priority for sure.

Why wasn't I given a notice and a choice that this app was going to be updated? It is out of order to just invade my device and make an update without my knowledge and permission. I had found many errors in the former version (many discovered only when I was singing in public), and had painstakingly gone through and made so many changes that are ALL now lost to me. Does this version have musical accompaniment? If it does, where is it? If not, why not?
