About this game

Chess Classic is a complete chess game with nothing in the way. Every standard rule is here, from castling to the fifty-move draw, on a clear board that looks sharp on phones and tablets.

• Castling on both sides, en passant and pawn promotion with a piece picker
• Check is announced, and checkmate and stalemate are detected
• Draws by the fifty-move rule, threefold repetition and insufficient material
• Only legal moves can be played, and legal squares light up when you pick a piece
• Play the computer on Easy, Normal or Hard — harder levels look further ahead
• Pass and play with a friend on the same device
• Wins, losses and draws are counted, with remaining material shown at the end

A quick game on the bus or a slow one across the table — all the rules, nothing extra.
