About this app

ShipMate helps online sellers and frequent shippers estimate what a parcel will cost before they send it. Enter the box size and weight, and see which weight you will actually be billed for.

• Compares actual weight with dimensional weight and uses the higher one, rounded up the way carriers bill
• The US postal template follows the official postal dimensional-weight rules: sides rounded up to the whole inch, dimensional weight only above 1,728 cubic inches, a 70 lb cap, and warnings for oversize or overweight parcels
• Compare the same parcel under each carrier template side by side, sorted by total, with every template's dimensional weight
• Start from templates for major postal and express carriers, or postal, express, and marketplace fulfillment channels in the US, UK, Germany, Japan, and China
• Price by rate per weight, by first-weight charge plus additional increments, or from your own rate cards (weight band by zone) that you type in and reuse by name
• Add packaging and handling costs and toggle fuel, residential, and remote-area surcharges
• Build multi-parcel shipments with quantities and one combined total
• Work in USD, CNY, GBP, EUR, or JPY with exchange rates you can edit; the built-in rates are dated reference values, not live rates
• See a full breakdown of the estimated total, share it as text, and save quotes to reload later
• Estimates only: no official carrier price list is built in, and actual charges may differ
