About this app

TileCalc tells you how many tiles or flooring boxes to order, so you buy enough without overspending. Enter the room size, pick a tile size and see the answer as you type.

• Boxes to order, tiles needed and tiles with waste for one room or a whole project
• Common tile sizes in inches and millimetres, or type any size
• Straight, diagonal and herringbone layouts set a rule-of-thumb waste of 10, 15 or 20%, and you can edit it
• Project list: add floors and walls, and subtract tubs, doors and other areas you will not tile
• Cost from the price per box or per square foot / square metre
• Grout joint volume and estimated grout weight from joint width, tile thickness and tile size

Works for rectangular rooms and walls with any tile or plank size. Material amounts are estimates, so check the manufacturer's label before you buy.
