Tip Wizard only needs what you likely already know. Input your selected speed, application rate, nozzle spacing and ideal droplet size, and Tip Wizard does the rest.
It will show you which tips you can use to maximize your chemical input through choosing the best suited tip to your intended application (be it contact herbicides which require less drift, or fungicides, which would require a high level of coverage).
Tip Wizard also provides detailed information on the VMD (Volumetric Median Diameter), which shows you where the main distribution of droplets would be for each spray tip.
Pulse Width Modulation technology, which is becoming more prevalent for agricultural spraying, is also included within Tip Wizard's searches, making it once again easier to pick spray tips dedicated for that system.
A new feature to Tip Wizard in 2016 is the Fertilizer Wizard, which functions as a tip calculator for liquid fertilizer. Once again, simply entering your application requirements will provide you with a host of knowledge as to which tip-caps you can use for your application to the nearest PSI.
Wilger will continue to keep educating and ensuring end users are provided with the best information to make their choices when it comes to spraying.
