The latest update forces me to the "What to Watch" when I used to be able to select what screen I wanted to start in in the settings, please put this feature back and I will increase the rating. I don't have a box that has streaming built in so I can't comment on that but I can no longer purchase the "Tivo Stream" to add this to my Roamio OTA but would like to purchase a new one if I could.
The app spontaneously started working better. I am confused as to how, but everything I'm used to working... seems to work again. Search functions, categories and download speed could all be improved, but at least the app isn't crashing the tivo box nearly every time I try to use it like it was before.
It would be nice if I could sign in. App says my email address isn't valid, then I go to add it and it says it's already there. I go to the Contact Us form for help and the Submit button doesn't work, so since you don't want to help your customers, I will place this review.
Latest update has removed all of my downloaded shows and I can no longer download anything. I can see the shows are still taking up space on my device, but there is no way to access them. TiVo support's only suggestion was to un/reinstall, which would obviously permanently delete the downloaded content (and according to other reviewers, wouldn't fix the problem anyway). That is the major issue for my low rating, however I continue to dislike the forced landscape mode, as a minor annoyance.
Forces you to what to watch screen, can't default to my shows any more. No quick mode, no ff, no real rewind, pita to drag slider back and forth through a recording. Mostly using now to check weather on live tv in the morning or fall asleep to something since trying to watch shows with it is so frustrating.
Outdated UI and constantly logs you out. Nothing like a remote application that can't be used without entering a username and password every time.
Minor bug fixes and improvements.
