Galaxy S7 Edge This has become VERY mediocre! It used to work great, but now it doesn't even alert you to new vmails. Fortunately I have my email & text alerts set because that's the only way I know I have new messages. It doesn't update and it's like connecting to it the first time each time you go into it to retrieve your messages. T-Mobile, you HAVE to do better! 😝😠
Interferes with Bluetooth connection on Nexus phones My Bluetooth connection drops voice calls when I launch visual vm or when I delete vm messages while on a cell call. The actual BT connection stays on but the voice switches over to the phone headset. I suspect that this happens also when I do not launch visual vm, but as the app refreshes itself periodically while talking using BT Please fix this. Thanks. This problem was fixed on later versions. Thank you.
Overall this is a good visual voicemail. However, I have noticed if I get voicemails when my phone is off I won't be notified when I turn my phone back on unless I manually open it and refresh OR a call goes to VM while the phone is on. I've missed lots of messages that way, often not finding out until days later! I don't know why this flaw exists, but I hope it's fixed soon. I had sprint before and their visual voicemail was MUCH better.
All kinds of issues Cannot turn this stupid app off. When I think I've done it, it continues to tell me I have messages but I cannot access them. Cannot access my regular voice mail. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Screen on/off bug Works great with the exception it doesn't seem to utilize the sensor that detects the phone is on my face when listening to VM to turn the screen on and off. So while listening to a message, the screen remains on and my face is pressing all sorts of things on the screen making it difficult to get through a VM message.
It used to sync automatically when I had the Galaxy S5. It no longer does with my S7. Maybe it's the Android version. So I often won't get my voicemails until days later unless I remember to sync it. Pretty annoying and rarely useful.
Our latest Visual Voicemail release adds support for Android Nougat, improves application stability, and continues to add to our Unread Voicemail Widget -- just long press on your homescreen and search for "Visual Voicemail" under Widgets.
