Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) was formed on July 1, 1957 under section 54 of the Electricity (Supply) Act 1948 in the State of Tamil Nadu as a vertically integrated utility responsible for power generation, transmission and distribution.As per the provisions under the section 131 of the Electricity Act,2003 TNEB was restructured on 1.11.2010 into TNEB Limited; Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO); and Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO). Further TANGEDCO has changed its business name to Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) and is effect from June 27th 2024.

Ratings and reviews

This app doesn't even have a basic notification feature to remind us for bill payments. I've forgot when was my bill due, and had to pay penalty fee for late payment. Adding a basic notification feature, to remind me for my due bills would have saved me from payming the penalty. IDK if you guys wanted not given a notification feature, just to make us pay penalties and earn 🥀.

Not showing consumer and bill details. Most of the time it isnt working. Dosen't seems like a maintenance issue. Paid 2 bills. Not able to pay the third one, basically there is something wrong with the app

Great app.. Simplifies the payment process! Few suggestions to make it even more user friendly: 1. Have an option to save a credit or debit card or last used payment method, connected to the user account. This will help avoid adding card nunber every time. 2. People have more than 1 connection, have to make multiple payments. Provide ootion to "select all" and pay with one click. Thanks for a nice job done! Keep it up!
