Incredibly intuitive, very slick Using Toggl heavily since Feb 2016, even turned a couple friends on to it. UI is smooth, sleek and shiny while not being ostentatious. The defyingly simple Reporting capabilities add a tremendous amount of flexibility to glean insight. And to top it off, I don't think I've ever experienced better support/service from, well, anywhere.
I have enjoyed using toggl on both the web and on the mobile app. I noticed that for some odd reason, what I entered on the mobile app was different than what I entered on the web. When I try to sync the mobile app it just says "no connection" even though I have a stable connection. Earlier today I used the web app, and now today, when I went to count up my hours so I could be paid, all of the entries between January 15th, and July 13th are completely gone, some of which I haven't been paid for, but I don't remember how many hours. I am livid. I love toggl, but I may have to find an alternative.
I really like this app. The design is very intuitive and it has a lot of nice features. There are minor issues where the app crashes if there is no internet access but they are not critical crashes and no data is lost. Very useful and highly functional. One improvement I can think of would be to store a week's worth of reports locally so that I can see the graphs while offline.
I love that it's easy to add things in if you forgot to track something. The fact that I can make categories galore and view stats about how I'm spending my time EASILY is the best part of the app. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that it no longer automatically pops up on my phone when I've started tracking on the computer- this was a helpful feature since I got back and forth between the two often.
Generally speaking quite useful - can be used to time track as well as to see reports. However, on my Galaxy S5 it crashes frequently. This usually happens when I get back to the app from somewhere else via Android's pull down menu. Also, it would be nice to optionally have the app stay in the notification tray even when it's not tracking time. This way, when you return from, say, lunch you can go back to it more easily. And sometimes the total time tracked for the day is not updated with the time of the currently running timer. So, say you have worked on something for 6 hours, then started the timer on a different project, time was running for 1 hr, the total time for the day may show 6 hours, not 7. This does seem to work sometimes, but not always.
Updating my previous review. This is still a great time tracking app. However, once again the latest release introduces an annoying new bug. If you enter details for a time entry in the app, it takes a few seconds to sync. If you start a new entry before the sync completes, it loses the information you entered. Kind of annoying and I've had to do a lot of fiddling with the app because of it.
