Crashes about every other time notifications are posted. Links are to wrong articles. Doesn't update with new stories daily. I think the physical newspaper is more current. Articles do not have dates so you have no reference when article states that something took place "today".

I have had it installed for a week and it still shows the same articles. Garbage.

The old version was just ok. At least I could adjust the font {important to us seniors) This "new" version is worthless, nothing seems to work.

Need department specific alerts Active shooter on campus of OSU - yes I want that notification. Brad and Angelina are breaking up (you actually sent that notification) is a waste of my time. Allow department specific notification settings (World News, Local News, Sports, Entertainment, ....) Also, far too often tapping the notification does not load the correct article.

Timely News? Why don't you put a time stamp on your news articles like you do on your website? I don't know if what I'm reading is breaking news, hours old, days old, or even weeks old. The same goes for the obituaries. There is no order to them, either alphabetically or by how recently the deceased passed away. It's like you put all the names in a Yatzee cup, shook it, then spilled them out, thereby giving you the layout of how you'll publish the names that day. Neighborhood News should include Bedford, too.

New version not user friendly New version is hard to use. Very confusing not well laid out. Check out a Gannett site for a well laid out newspaper site. Can't believe they think this is an improvement.

Wtf This app sucks! I can't tell you how many times I click on an article to read it and a different article pops up. Some days every article I click on it goes to the same one article.

Your lucky to get 2-3 current new stories a day. Most of what is reported is old outdated news. I uninstalled.

Can't turn off notifications Even though push notifications disabled, the app ignores and keeps them coming. Had to disable in Android settings.

Top stories The top stories do not change anymore since the update. I read this app multiple times a day and its annoying they don't change. Please fix this and I'll give her a big ol 5

Not updated Little of local news and. No current obits, etc

Old News The Blade doesn't up date the content daily. Obituaries are not updated news articles are 2 and 3 days old. It appears that they have an App just to say they have one. Minimal effort is put into it. Shame on you !!

Horrible I have yet to click on a blade alert and have it take me to the correct news article. Horribly designed app.

Opening Won't open half the time. Go to open and goes back to home page. Sports is not up to date.

Deception... Asks to send push notifications, when you choose "Don't Allow", they still send the notifications and collect data. Opt out does not work! Very deceptive!

9 times out of 10 after clicking on a notification, it says the apps not working.

The headlines are outdated I have been reading the headline "Period Pieces Hit the Stage" for 5 and a half months. If you can't handle updating all the headlines, delete them after a month......update....... still have that headline. ...and a few more that are several months old

Poor quality News flash items don.t even point to the correct story! How about more adds, a full page every 3rd story just isn't enough of a distraction! Especially while hunting for the story that didn't display when it was supposed to!!!

Barely worthwhile notifications If there are multiple notifications you lose them all when you click one. They don't always link the correct article to a notification and yoy rarely get the full headline from the notification. Not worth it to me.

Good news reporting but... I tap on the breaking news notification and end up at a completely different story. Please fix!

Latest upgrade doesn't work 4/17/2014 App was working well on my HTC EVO and Toshiba Thrive tablet but latest upgrade crashes on both as it attempts to load. I miss having it to check latest Blade news,

Toledo Blade app App closes when you try to access the breaking news story. When trying to access the app through the icon a pop up screen states the app closed abruptly. Please fix.

. Neither my samsung galaxy s3 nor my asus transformer tablet can enlarge/open the photos attached to the articles anymore. They stopped working on the phone several weeks ago and on my tablet today.
