I'm reasonably impressed with this app and I've tried all the main competitors. I didn't have my Spark watch with the old app, but the new brain world for me. It is a bit odd that it only syncs with location turned on (which no other running app requires, despite TomTom casting it is an Android requirement) but it does sync. The app is user friendly and I like the ability to overlay stats so that you can clearly see pace vs heart rate for example. Haven't tried recording to other apps yet.
For me, it syncs with my spark without fail. The data analysis is not as comprehensive as on the computer. It would be good, as a previous reviewer suggested, th have the facility to track gear. I mainly mountain bike (the watch has only one mode of cycling available, I occasionally road ride ) and it would be interesting to know how long, for example, the chain lasts. I appreciate it's not a simple matter, for example, I have two mountain bikes!
When I purchased the TomTom Touch at Jan'17, it had few issues, regarding connectivity and mobile app. But the team of TomTom literally changed all of it in just few days. Does not have any connectivity issue now and I just love the new mobile app, which shows so many details now. Battery timing is good also and gives me 4-5 days on full charge. Really love my TomTom touch fitness watch. 5 Stars from my side ❤
Great app. Plenty of analysis. Occasionally takes a little while to sync, but 90% of the time it's fine. Tell you what it could do with, but I think I'm the only person to say this, so I'm probably wrong. If you could log a new pair of running shoes you could track how far they go, and know when you should replace them.
Read some earlier reviews that were not very positive about this app. I have had no problem with it whatsoever - it does exactly what it's supposed to do, syncing straight away and providing a range of useful information. Spark 3 is a fantastic sports watch and this app complements it perfectly.
Just doesn't sync at all. Previous app did sync unlike this one. UPD: clearing app data disconnected watch from the phone, and it took forever to connect it again (close to 30 attempts). It is finally connected and seem to be working fine, but I'll keep an eye on how it behaves for the next couple of weeks. Worthwhile to mention, that Garmin or FitBit app sync flawlessly. UPD2: after initial sync described in previous update, watch doesn't sync again (even if I force stop Garmin Connect).
